In the process of rehabilitation relief and dot writing plays an important role for the blind. Similar to the writing of people with preserved vision, the Braille system performs informative and  communicative function. Some of the blind can read and write will help to continue education and self-education. In other cases of mastery the Braille system is necessary to maintain professional fitness and for completion of other rehabilitation courses, in particular on the formation of life skills skills, spatial orientation and mobility; use electronic devices and digital technologies.

The main goal of specialists: to provide effective tools to compensate for visual system disorders and improve the quality of life.

Main tasks:

to familiarize with the Braille system; to form the need to use the skills of reading and writing with the Braille system in modern life; to form (improve) tactile perception, to prepare hands for reading and writing in Braille; to learn to write in Braille in the device, on a mechanical/electronic Braille typewriter, a tactile display ; to develop the skills of reading Braille; to develop the ability to use tactile maps, navigation charts, mnemonics, tactile informants, etc.
