Psychological rehabilitation
Mental health is the key to a person's quality of life.
The main goal of specialists is to ensure the psychological well-being of children, adults with visual impairments, and their families.
Main tasks:
- Providing consultations and psychological support to blind and visually impaired high school students, college students, adults, and war veterans, as well as their relatives and close ones;
- Conducting psychodiagnostics and psycho-correction;
- Organizing developmental, psycho-corrective, and stress-relieving psychological individual and group sessions;
- Forming positive motivation regarding social attitudes towards life, profession, and work;
- Teaching methods and techniques of self-regulation, self-education, and self-learning.
Department of educational technologies
In the process of rehabilitation relief and dot writing plays an important role for the blind. Similar to the writing of people with preserved vision, the Braille system performs informative and communicative function. Some of the blind can read and write will help to continue education and self-education. In other cases of mastery the Braille system is necessary to maintain professional fitness and for completion of other rehabilitation courses, in particular on the formation of life skills skills, spatial orientation and mobility; use electronic devices and digital technologies.

Department of interaction and support (for families: legal, psychological, educational and social)
The department provides services, which are aimed at preventing difficult life circumstances, overcoming or minimization of their negative consequences, to families/individuals belonging to vulnerable population groups, are in difficult life circumstances and need outside help
Main tasks:
- conducting social and preventive work aimed at preventing families/individuals from falling into difficult life circumstances;
- providing legal, psychological, educational and social support for families/individuals;
- social and psychological support for families raising children with special educational needs; involvement of families in active social life, events Trinity Hub.
Department of recreation and career guidance
Recovery or reproduction of physical and spiritual forces spent by a person in the process life activity is possible at the expense of various types of activities, which visitors are offered at our rehabilitation center in their free time.
The activities of our specialists are aimed at restoring strength and satisfying a wide range of personal and social needs and requests.
Main tasks:
- increasing opportunities for active recreation;
- forming motivation for self-realization; creating opportunities to restore the circle of communication;
- forming an adequate attitude to the acquired visual impairment through participation in peer communication groups;
- reducing or completely eliminating the causes of psychological and emotional discomfort in communication groups;
- providing confidence in one's own abilities;
- identification of professional interests;
- formation of an adequate self-assessment of one's abilities and capabilities;
- creation of conditions for social and professional mobility;
- activation of participation in cultural, artistic and entertainment events and projects;
- strengthening health during participation in health activities (yoga, dance, Nordic walking, cycling, various games, skiing horses, etc.).
Department of life skills
Formation of life skills in people with visual impairments contributes to their ability to adapt, overcoming the difficulties of everyday life, restoring functionality abilities, improving the quality of life in order to achieve life goals in in the field of education, employment, personal life, security and independence
The main goal of specialists: formation of life skills in people with visual impairments, using cognitive, visual, non-visual strategies and typhlotechnical means of rehabilitation.
Main tasks:
- to teach how to use residual vision during daily activities;
- to teach use living space modifications that will increase mobility and will contribute to the safety of movement in closed life spaces;
- teach compensatory skills related to personal health and hygiene;
- care of clothes, shoes and a house;
- household management;
- form skills in using adaptive technologies to increase independence and self-reliance;
- form social and communicative skills during household management and organizing leisure time.
Department of information technologies
Modern information technologies play an important role in improving the quality of life of people with visually impaired, giving them more opportunities and access to information, education, entertainment and provision of various life needs.
The main one the goal of specialists: to form the necessary digital skills in people with visual impairments skills of working with a personal computer and a smartphone, on which special programs and applications are installed that allow them to be successful can be used by both people with low vision and the blind.
Main tasks:
- preparation educational space, hardware and software to educational process for individual and group work within the framework activities of the department, persons with visual impairments;
- education use of computers, laptops with the use of a keyboard, screen access programs, zoom programs, special helpers devices and additional peripheral devices (printer, Braille display, Braille printer, tactile graphics printer, devices satellite navigation, etc.);
- learning how to use mobile phones electronic devices (smartphones, tablets under the control of various operating systems, e-books, push-button telephones);
- use of special satellite navigation applications, physical satellite navigation devices;
- provision operation of online sites for the blind as part of the department's activities: communities in social networks, YouTube channel, interactive portal etc.; management of online radio and all its divisions.
Department of restorative therapy (physical rehabilitation)
Purpose: Restore performance of the body and adapt it to full performance of all necessary functions is one of the important tasks of physics rehabilitation
Main tasks:
- activation of reserve forces and capabilities of the body;
- restoration of volitional and physical qualities;
- development of functional capabilities of the motor apparatus;
- formation and development of lost motor skills and abilities;
- restoration/improvement of the work of the vestibular apparatus;
- formation of restoration of correct walking, posture;
- increase of motor activity;
- strengthening of health , prevention of secondary deviations in the state of health;
- formation of fatigue reduction processes by increasing muscle loads.
